Department of Business Administration

History

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is a popular study among students interested in pursuing a career in management. The department provides a common platform for each student with varied educational skills and knowledge background to join together with a common objective of self-development through group effort.

The Department was established in the year 2002-2003 with the UG Programme (BBA) and started functioning as one of the pivotal departments of the college. The faculty members aim to emulate enthusiasm and dedication to students attempting to mold strategic decision makers and excellent business entrepreneurs. The Department received permanent affiliation status from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirapalli in the year 2017-2018.

Objectives

  • Employ analytical and reflective thinking strategies to identify and evaluate business challenges, devise feasible solutions, and make sound judgments.
  • Solve business challenges using proper quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
  • Demonstrate mastery in the core curriculum's fundamental ideas, theories, and techniques.

  • Create feasible alternatives and make sound judgments in an international business setting.
