Department of Computer Science

The Department of Computer Science established in 1998-1999 with the goal of providing a high-quality education in computer science. The computer science department grew with the introduction of PG-Computer Science and M.Phil Research programme, in the academic year 2003-2004 and 2007-2008. A department strives to empower students in order to build a prosperous and educated society. The Department's primary goal is to provide a solid foundation for students interested in pursuing post-graduate studies in Computer Science. Students' knowledge may also enable them to satisfy industry needs and obtain employment.

  • To investigate the impact of computers on individuals, organizations, and society on a local and global scale.
  • To assist and supervise the execution of a successful project plan.
  • To meet the demands of today's information technology society.
  • To recognize best practices and standards for creating user-interactive and abstract apps.
  • To design, build, and test a computer-based system, technique, component, or programme to meet specific specifications.

To assure that our learners gain the IT knowledge, skills, and spirit required to be lifelong learners and compassionate citizens of their local and global communities.

To educate students to be successful, ethical, and effective problem solvers and lifelong learners who will positively contribute to our region's economic well-being and who are prepared to tackle the complex 21st-century challenges confronting the world.
